Sumbul Desai is the Vice President of Health at Apple, overseeing Apple health initiatives, clinics, and strategy.
Prior to joining Apple, Desai ran Stanford University’s digital health initiatives and launched ClickWell Care, Stanford Medicine’s first virtual telemedicine clinic aimed at improving access to primary care. Her numerous roles at Stanford included Vice Chair of Strategy and Innovation for the Department of Medicine, Chief of the Stanford Center for Digital Health, and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine.
Desai received her B.S. in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked on strategy and business development for The Walt Disney Company, before obtaining her M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her residency at Stanford.
