Erika Milczek, PhD

Erika Milczek is the CEO of Curie Co. She founded the enzyme engineering company to replace banned chemicals in consumer products with safe and sustainable ingredients.

Milczek earned her B.S. in chemistry at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her Ph.D. in chemistry at Emory University. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University, she joined Merck & Co. where she developed enzymatic routes for commercial drug synthesis.
