Sheila Davis is the CEO of Partners in Health, a non-profit social justice organization bringing quality health care to the most vulnerable communities around the world. She has elevated the organization’s nursing programs and clinical operations, shaped its nursing strategy, and strengthened the professionalism and inclusiveness of its thousands of nurses, midwives, and community health workers.
Previously, Davis held the roles of Chief of Clinical Operations, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief of Ebola Response, and Global Nursing Coordinator. She led the organization’s Ebola response in West Africa, supported the opening of University Hospital in Haiti, and helped transition the teams to rebuilding the health systems in Liberia and Sierra Leone. She also worked closely with patients suffering from HIV in the 1980s.
Davis earned her B.S.N. from Northeastern University and her M.S.N. and D.N.P from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she later became an assistant professor.
